Rothe is seeking a Public Affairs Writer III to write stories, photo captions, broadcast scripts, and social media content for NASA at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The work will be in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract.

Craft clear, accessible stories, photo captions, internal and external broadcast scripts, and social media content following AP style and NASA guidelines; research topics and interview subject matter experts; translate complex technical information into clear language for technical, leadership, employee, public, and stakeholder audiences; develop internal communications, including employee announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, digital signage, intranet content, and presentations; develop social media content and support content calendars around key events, milestones, and mission activities; support launch coverage and work with multimedia, photography, video, graphics, and production teams on integrated products; and coordinate with program leadership, subject matter experts, and NASA center communications teams so content is accurate and approved before publication. This is a hybrid position based at Kennedy Space Center, on site about 75% of the time, with occasional travel. This is a union position represented by IATSE.
