Rothe is seeking a Social Media Intern to provide support for digital communications and social media activities, in a hybrid role based at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The work will be in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract.

Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for social media campaigns, posts, and audience engagement; research social media trends, creator best practices, and emerging digital content formats; assist with the planning, scripting, production, and packaging of short-form video content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical video formats; participate in content planning meetings and contribute ideas for storytelling opportunities; draft social media copy, captions, and supporting content; support basic social media trend monitoring and audience insights activities; and collaborate with communications professionals on content development projects. This is a part time position of 10 to 20 hours a week. The position is hybrid at Goddard Space Flight Center, with onsite attendance as requested for in-person meetings and content production. No travel is required.
